ReplyDeleteBut I think the first premise is flawed, empirically speaking. Those sweet girls at BYU aren't actually *in* the directory, per se. Rather, a digital *representation* of them is. Therefore the digital representations are the things incapable of love, not the the girls themselves. There's a big difference, I think, between real things and representations of real things. At least as far as humans go.
The implication of this is that those sweethearts still have a chance.
